Mikaela was born in the year 1984. She has Italian and Iranian heritage. She was born in Colbert and was raised there. As early as age two when she was two, she began taking dancing classes. Later on she took part in school productions. Then, she began to appear as a model for children in commercials. After graduating from the theatre programme at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, she joined Loyola Marymount University in USA to pursue her studies. Mikaela first appeared in the 2007 movie 'Frank. In 'Sorority Forever,' she played a lead role. Then, she took on Humanzee in 'Humanzee' after auditioning before the world's most celebrated film director James Gunn. Her next role was as an actor in The James Gunn & Peter Safran X-Box Show Sparky & Mikaela. In 2010, Hoover was first seen in American productions wherein she played part as a guest in the movie "How I Met Your Mom'. Hoover also appeared as a character in the James Gunn directed film 'Super.'
