Annet Mahendru

Mahendru was the child of her Russian mother and a Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. Mahendru fluently speaks German Russian English. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father as well as a Russian mother. She choreographed her 11 year old show that earned her a German TV show appearance as a Russian Snow Maiden, who turns into a playful Indian Dancer. Her high school graduation was successful and earned a bachelor's degree in English in New York. After high school, she attended acting classes at HB but left for improv classes at Groundlings School. She then performed in a variety of comedy roles. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru, and an Russian mom Olga. Her father moved her to East Meadow, New York at the age of thirteen years old. She stars in FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. The actress is most famous for her role as the ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. She has had a recurring appearance on Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
